Man City v Bournemouth Asian Handicap Betting Preview – Saturday 17th September by @tashason21

My latest Asian Handicap Betting preview sees Manchester City take on Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Man City are favourites to lift the EPL trophy and have won all 4 of their league games to date.

City’s 2-1 win at Old Trafford in the Manchester derby made a big statement, especially with Aguero suspended. Fellow title contenders Chelsea also failed to beat Swansea (2-2) and although it’s early days, this result could prove significant come the end of the season.

Claudio Bravo’s error led to United’s goal and so he’ll be hoping for a better performance this weekend.

Man City have also beaten Sunderland (2-1), Stoke (4-1) and West Ham (3-1) so far this campaign. The Citizens certainly aren’t short of goals and against Bournemouth I’d expect another flurry!

Aguero is still suspended and so Iheanacho and Nolito should lead City’s attack.

Kelechi Iheanacho & Nolito

Despite some good results, City haven’t kept a single clean sheet!

Mid-week however, they thrashed Gladbach 4-0 in the Champions league and looked more solid defensively. Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick and Iheanacho netted City’s 4th goal of the game.

Bournemouth got their first league win of the new season last weekend as they beat West Brom 1-0. Callum Wilson scored his first goal this campaign for the Cherries as he looks to regain the form he showed early last year.

Prior defeats against West Ham (1-0) and Manchester United (3-1) had meant a rocky start to their second year in the top-flight, although they did pick up a point at Selhurst Park (1-1).

Securing the loan of Jack Wilshire was another big success for the club, so long as he stays fit.

On Saturday, getting a result against City should prove too tough a task, but Eddie Howe has more than proved his managerial capabilities and for this reason I think that Bournemouth will be ok this season.

Last campaign, Bournemouth lost 5-1 at the Etihad and also suffered a 4-0 home defeat. There has to be goals in Saturday’s game and although City should storm to victory, I am also expecting both teams to get on the score-sheet.

The value is hugely on the overs market, hence I recommend backing over 3.25 goals to return a profit.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Over 3.25 goals @ 2.06 with 188BET

Prices correct at time of writing.
