The Premier League is back this weekend and my latest Asian Handicap betting preview focuses on the game between West Brom and Tottenham.

West Brom

Before the international break, West Brom drew 1-1 against Sunderland and were disappointed not to come away with all 3 points. Nacer Chadli gave the Baggies the lead, but a late goal scored by Patrick van Aanholt meant each side came away with a point.

Chadli signed for West Brom from Spurs in the summer and he’s proving to be an excellent signing. Chadli has already scored 3 league goals this campaign and has added a goal-scoring dimension to the Baggies’ midfield.

Saturday’s game against Spurs is no doubt their toughest match of the season to date. Tony Pulis is doing a good job this season however and his side are currently 3 games unbeaten.

Nacer Chadli

Tottenham

Tottenham secured an impressive 2-0 victory over league leaders Manchester City last time round. A Kolarov own goal and one from Dele Alli sealed the victory, which put Spurs only 1 point behind City in the Premier League table.

Man City have a tough fixture against Everton this weekend and therefore Tottenham have a real chance to go top of the table, should City falter.

Spurs are now the only unbeaten side in the Premier League and have won 5 out of their last 7 games, including their last 4.

In their last away game Tottenham beat Middlesbrough 2-1, with Son Heung-min scoring a brace. Son has been Tottenham’s star player this season, scoring 5 goals across all competitions.

Spurs have scored 7 goals in their last 3 away games and the loss of Harry Kane through injury doesn’t seem to be affecting results at this stage.

Conclusion

West Brom are on a good run of form and as they have the home advantage I think they will cause Spurs some problems on Saturday. A draw is a likely outcome and therefore I recommend backing West Brom +0.75 on the Asian Handicap betting market, which looks good value.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: West Brom +0.75 @ 1.97 with 188BET

Prices correct at time of writing.
