The Funniest NBA Players in the League

There are the accidental funny guys, and then there are the NBA players who are the year-round chucklesome chaps ever.

Save for JaVale McGee, a constant in Shaqtin’ a Fool (also known as The JaVale McGee show).

Here’s a compilation of his funny moments.

Random NBA players pop up to show their comical side, from time to time.

A Reddit user asked:

Who do you think are the funniest NBA players in the league?

Redditors did not disappoint with their choices.

1) Lance Stephenson

Stephenson has a reputation for being the funniest man in the NBA mainly because of his goal celebrations—his and his teammates’. He won’t back down even from taunting LeBron James.

2) Robin Lopez

Lopez is known for beating up mascots—his NBA trademark. YouTube has a compilation of Robin Lopez vs. NBA Mascots. Lopez is talented too. Here’s proof.

3) Kyle Lowry

Lowry knows all the tricks to piss off his teammates. He goofs every person around him, but his favourite is DeMar DeRozan.

4) Klay Thompson

Thompson can be so hilarious without really trying. It’s not just because he is part of one hell of an entertaining team, the Golden State Warriors. Going back, one day he is Classic Klay and the next day, he is China Klay—his alter ego.

5) JJ Redick

Redick has his own antics including video bombing other players’ post-game interviews. But when he was being interviewed and remembered that the last man on the locker room has to dance, he ran as fast as he could.

6) Joe Ingles

Ingles always has the funniest things to say on and off-court. And when asked about who he thinks the most hilarious one in Utah Jazz, Ingles came up with this answer.

7) Nick Young

Young has the wittiest comebacks. But there is nothing compared to Young reacting to his highlights including his three-point miss celebration.

8) Nikola Jokic

Jokic has a way with kids—the most amusing way he can. And he seems to know when the cameras pan on him. His biggest enemy yet? The NBA microphone.

9) Demar DeRozan

DeRozan is the ever-rollicking guy, especially when with Lowry who are always clowning on one another.

10) Russ Westbrook

Westbrook tries to look funny when people are looking at him, but can be very funny by himself, for himself. And yes, he loves to dance so much!

11) Kevin Durant

Durant is not trying to be amusing at all, but everything he does seems so. You’d love his courtside moments the most.

12) Giannis Antekokounmpo

Antetokounmpo is your go-to guy for the worst jokes, but his jokes are so awful they became funny in the end. He has the driest sense of humor among the players.
