The Swans go into this match having won one game from five matches in all competitions, sitting 18th in the league on the back of three straight defeats.
Alan Curtis’ team’s last match ended in a 4-2 defeat at home to Sunderland; Jermain Defoe bagging a hat-trick in what was a crucial game for Swansea.
At home, and Welsh side have won one game from their last five, as their 1-0 victory against West Brom was their first win in nine matches at the Liberty Stadium. Furthermore, in their last five matches the Swans have scored five and conceded nine.
Andre Ayew is the key source of good coming from Swansea City, as the striker has netted seven times in 20 appearances for the club since signing on a free, but may be looking for the exit door already.
Injury-wise however, there seems to be no problems at the club, but the departure of Jonjo Shelvey will be a big miss for Curtis.
Watford, meanwhile, are not doing so well either having won one game in all competitions from their last five, sitting 12th in the Premier League.
Away from home, and the Hornets have won two of their last five, picking up seven out of a possible 15 points.
On top of this, Watford have scored seven goals and conceded eight in their last five matches on the road.
Odion Ighalo has been a revelation for Watford having scored 13 goals in 21 appearances for the club, as his partnership with frontman Troy Deeney has caught the attention of many.
The last time these two sides faced each other, Watford walked away with a 1-0 win at Vicarage Road; Ighalo once again on the score-sheet. But in their last five meetings, Swansea have won on two occasions, but at the Liberty Stadium have drawn twice.
Watford head into this match doing better than expected and will look to improve this drought they have been stuck in. Swansea, on the other hand, will believe they are better than their current standings suggest and will look to push on.
