This is my first Asian Handicap Betting Preview for Serie A and I have a good feeling about the outcome in this one. Palermo will host Napoli at Stadio Renzo Barbera on Saturday night and profit looms.

From the two matches Palermo have played in Serie A, they have only gained one point and sit 15th in the table. Roberto De Zerbi’s last game ended in a 1-1 draw away to Inter Milan; Adrea Rispoli giving the visitors an early lead.
The Eagles will be hoping for an improved season, considering last year they finished 16th in Serie A, one point off the bottom three. Palermo ended the campaign in good form remaining unbeaten for their last five matches.
Within the transfer window, Palermo made a large profit on the sale of Franco Vasquez to Sevilla for £12.75 million. Yet, they only managed to spend six million of this bringing in seven players. This includes Bruno Henrique from Corinthians for £2.81 million.
At home, Palermo lost their opening match against Sassuolo 1-0, this was after they went on a five game unbeaten run at their place in all competitions. But on a brighter note, they recently made the next stages of the Coppa Italia with a 1-0 win against Bari 1908 in extra-time.
De Zerbi’s side will have to put up a good fight to stop Napoli taking all three points. No question they’ve done it before, but it’s an uphill struggle against an in-form side.
Napoli, on the other hand, will be buzzing after the start they have had. Sitting sixth in Serie A, two points off the top, Maurizio Sarri’s side hammered AC Milan last weekend 4-2 at home; Arkadiusz Milik and Jose Callejon both grabbing braces.
The Italian giants made big news in the window having sold Gonzalo Higuain to Juventus for £76 million. As a result, they brought in six players for a total of £66 million.
Vlad Chiriches and Lorenzo Tonelli are out injured for the visitors. A positive though is that there are no suspensions.
Last season, Napoli should have won the league but finished nine points behind eventual winners Juventus. Now they will have to find a replacement for Higuain who scored 36 goals in 35 games for Sarri’s team last season. Whether they can achieve the same outcome is another question.
The last time these two sides met at Stadio Renzo Barbera, Napoli won 1-0. But, from their 11 meetings in Palermo, Napoli have only won three times.
Where does the profit lie? Looking at the teams you would have to back Napoli. Having won three of their last four meetings at Palermo, and scoring four on the weekend it is set for them to take the three points. But I have this feeling we will not be seeing many goals.
